About Me
Welcome. I am so happy you’re here.
I’m a licensed massage therapist and Structural Integrator with a movement-centered and athletic performance-focused approach to bodywork. My core aims are to help clients notice their holding and movement patterns, and facilitate recognition of their own capacity for healing. I can show you where access and ease are possible, and empower you to create changes for yourself. I take intentional time to recognize the distinct features of your movement context to develop strategies that can support maintenance, development, and strengthening on and off the table.
My work blends:
structural integration
myofascial release
deep tissue techniques
neuro-muscular techniques
embodiment practices
somatic awareness facilitation
movement analysis
movement education
My work is helpful if:
You are an athlete looking to improve performance, positioning, and recovery.
You perform a repetitive movement pattern (think frequent typing on a computer, gardening, walking, driving, cooking, painting etc.).
You generate high forces in your daily work (athletes, laborers, tradespeople, farmers, blue-collar workers)
Your system has been disrupted by accidents, injuries, or medical interventions. I have received 3 reconstructive knee surgeries from a life immersed in athletics, and I feel especially connected when working with folks post-op to get back to sport or daily movement goals.
When not working, you can find me Olympic lifting, practicing yoga, experimenting in the kitchen, exploring new places through travel, tinkering with my film camera, immersing myself in a good book, or spending time outdoors.
I look forward to meeting you(:
